2018 Silver Spoon Awards (+ giveaway!)
This year we’re attending an event we’ve been dying to go to, the Silver Spoon Awards Party. What is this event and why does it sound so awesome? The May issue of Cleveland Magazine showcases Northeast Ohio’s best restaurants and they have a variety of categories for the Silver Spoon Awards. The winning restaurants are then invited to participate in the Silver Spoon Awards Party by serving their signature dishes to guests.
Guests will sample over 45 signature dishes from the best of the best in Northeast Ohio. View the complete list of restaurants here. All participating restaurants are 2018 Silver Spoon Award winners and nominees. In addition to the delicious dishes, there will be international vintners providing wine. It truly is the culinary event of the year!
In addition to being a culinary event, it is a benefit for the Arthritis Foundation of Northeastern Ohio. The proceeds from the event will help fund critical arthritis research conducted at local institutions in Northeastern Ohio, as well as support local programs and service for the nearly 1.3 million Northeast Ohioans with arthritis.
Additionally, there will be a Stock The Bar Raffle and Dine Around Cleveland Raffle. The Stock the Bar Raffle is provided with goodies compliments of Brown-Forman and includes everything from whiskey to vodka and will have you prepared for your next party. The Dine Around Cleveland Raffle includes a gift card collection from Cleveland’s best restaurants valued at $1,000.00. You can purchase raffle tickets when you buy your event ticket.
You can purchase either general admission or VIP tickets (get them here):
- General Admission: includes food, wine and craft beer tastings, valet parking, access to the evening’s auctions and raffles and a one-year subscription to Cleveland Magazine (1 per household).
- VIP Admission: includes access to General Admission as well as the Sysco VIP Lounge. The lounge will include additional tastings, craft cocktails, an exciting Chopped style cocktail challenge and additional surprises. The VIP Lounge will remain open an extra hour until 10 p.m.

Personally, we’re excited to see what some of our favorite restaurants are bringing such as Thai Thai, Banter, Salt and Humble. We’re also excited to try dishes from places we haven’t been to yet! Hope to see you all for this amazing culinary extravaganza!
