Bite Back Against Cancer with University Hospitals
We love getting out and supporting local businesses and restaurants. We are also always looking for ways to support important causes like cancer research. If you’re like us and want to support both endeavors, the Bite Back campaign is an amazing event to partake in.

The Bite Back Campaign is associated with Five Star Sensation which is a philanthropic initiative to support University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center. The money they raise helps support clinical trials for cancer treatments, ground-breaking cancer research, immunotherapy and helps give community access to cancer patients.
The campaign is a collaborative effort between the Cancer Center and local restaurants. You can choose an amount of $100, $250 or $500 to donate and half of your donation goes to UH Seidman as a 100% tax deductible gift. The remaining half will be used for a gift card at a participating Five Star Sensation restaurant. Once you pick the restaurant, the gift card will be mailed to your home.
This is such a unique way to support a good cause and give back to your community. Now that things are opening back up, it can be a great way to help one of the following participating restaurants get back on their feet:

We are more than happy to give you some recommendations if you’re having a hard time deciding because some of our favorite restaurants are on this list. For beer and pizza, Saucy Brew Works is your best choice. If you want fresh and delicious seafood, we’d choose Blue Point Grille or Salmon Dave’s. If you’re feeling poutine and also want to take home delicious beers or wine then you must go to Banter. For a Sunday Funday brunch with your friends, Rosewood Grill is an excellent choice.
