Drinking with Distillata

It’s been a hot minute since we did a post focused on drinking, so we thought we’d bring you one. But as our title suggests, we pulled a fast one on you: we’re not talking about booze. We’re talking about cool, crisp, delicious, filtered spring water from local company, Distillata. We can just picture your puzzled face as you’re reading this. But trust us and continue to read on about why we love Distillata and why you will too!

The first thoughts that would pop in our head when we heard the words “water cooler” were offices and office gossip. You know, because apparently all the office scuttlebutt is discussed around the water cooler during breaks. So, when Distillata reached out and asked if we wanted to try their product we thought…we don’t have an office, why would they want us to try a water cooler? We quickly learned that Distillata is so much more than office water coolers.

Distillata has been providing bottled water to the Cleveland and Akron areas since 1897. Over 120 years! Not only do they provide water dispensers for your home and business, but you can also order bottled water, sparkling water, water filtration systems and even coffee products.

We received a stainless steel water cooler that fits perfectly into our kitchen. It’s sleek and matches our other appliances. We hardly notice it, which is great because we didn’t want to add something bulky in our already small kitchen.

Fun fact about us: we drink a looooooot of water. Staying hydrated is really important to us. It is one of the easiest things you can do to be healthy. We easily drink over 80 ounces of water per day, and probably even more if we plan on drinking alcohol. We have used our water cooler for so many different things, like:

• Filling our water bottles. We both take 40 oz water bottles to work every day to make sure we are constantly drinking.
• Filling our water tumblers at home. We have 32 oz tumblers we use strictly for water. Like we said, HYDRATE!
• Making chlorophyll water. Broad drinks a glass of chlorophyll + lemon water every day (we buy this stuff). There’s a ton of health benefits, plus it tastes pretty good.
• Making tea. The hot water dispenser is perfect for making a cup of tea!
• Making cold brew. We bought the best cold brew maker off Amazon and we need to fill it with 32 oz of water.
